The 2024 United States Presidential Election took place on November 5, 2024. In an ordeal which satirical newspaper The Onion affectionately rendered as "America Defeats America", a plurality of roughly 32% of the American population voted to elect known rapist Donald Drumpf to a non-consecutive second term as President of the United States. The election is noted for being the smallest popular vote win since the 19th century.
